Dishwasher safe, has enough size to measure what I needed, and still doesn’t take up a lot of storage space. Two pieces can come apart to clean. Perfect for peanut butter!

Gets the job done

It's a measuring cup, and it's adjustable. Not a ton to say here, but I'll try to hit the main points I've noticed. It can be a bit difficult to figure out where exactly lines up with the marking, as there's a little bit of a bevel around the edge of the platform. Am I lining up with where I assume the top of the platform is, or where the bevel ends and the piece actually meets the outside shell? Additionally, reading black text/marking lines against the black platform is a bit of a struggle. It would've been really nice to see either a white platform or some white markings for contrast. The good news is that it's easy enough to adjust and seems to do a good job of holding its position, and it is indeed watertight for measuring liquids. It doesn't take up a ton of space, so you can leave it out on the counter next to your stand mixer or other baking gear for easy access instead of rummaging around in drawers for the right size measuring cup. Gets the job done, just wish it was a bit easier to read!

Measures accurately, easy to clean

I have had measuring devices like this in the past and enjoyed the large capacity and versatility of liquid and dry measurements. The rubber seal holds well and doesn't allow anything to leak past. Clean up is easy as the pieces come apart and ingredients come off the plastics easily.

It's just OK in our opinion

I thought this looked like a clever adjustable measuring cup, but I was a little bit let down once we tried it out. When my wife used it for oil and water at one point, she said that the very small quantities like 1/8 cup are awkward to measure since it is so shallow and wide. She also said it didn't pour cleanly. I asked if she poured with the "corner" facing downward, and she said she did. I later used it for measuring a 1/4 cup of milk, and I managed to pour it out without it making a mess. I was very deliberate about pouring it quickly and not trying to pour it slowly. I wish it was dishwasher safe. I didn't realize that the product page said handwash only, so I have washed it twice in the dishwasher. It has survived those two washes, but I would question whether the dishwasher may cause the markings to come off (maybe this is the real reason for handwash only?)... I think a full test would really require a pair of these - one for measuring any liquids in a particular recipe, and another for measuring dry ingredients. I'm going with 4 stars, since it does work for its intended function, but docking a star for the lack of dishwasher safe status, and questionable durability on the markings.

Awesome Kitchen Gadget!

This measuring tube is great for dry goods and liquid goods! It holds up to 2 cups of either and is sealed with a rubber seal where the bottom of the top part meets with the bottom part to allow you to expand it.
