First off….these is NOT a comforter. It’s a duvet cover. There’s too much gold in it for me so I decided to just layer it on top of my existing comforter. I did not like the accent pillows that came with it so I used my own.It wrinkles easy. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment on how it holds up…that’s a later review. It serves my purpose well.

Using on my daughters bed while she is away at school. It is not used frequently so I am not sure how it holds up. The pillows were a nice surprise.

Beautiful bed set, however I wish it came with an actual blanket since was fairly pricey
This is a beautiful bed set, however it did not come with an actual blanket, so I don’t think that it should’ve been as pricey as it was. You have to put a blanket inside the cover, which can be a pain when it comes to making up your bed; I don’t know how to explain how, but if you decide to purchase this bed set, then you’ll see what I mean. Tip: When you wash the bed set make sure you remove the blanket from inside the cover because when I first washed my cover I left the blanket inside of it, BIG MISTAKE! It ended up getting tangled to the point where I couldn’t undo it, and I had to order a whole other bed set.

Wash away/mix match
This bedding was beautiful when opened. Highly disappointed to see the gold coloring was off of blanket and shams upon first wash. Quite irritating also that my shams with this set were made from two different types of fabric, one a cotton like fabric while the other matched the duvet cover with an almost shiney satin like material. Both materials were soft but were not the same and it is extremely noticable as I am partially sighted and could still see and noticed the difference. The amount of gold color that washed away upon first wash was also unacceptable in my opion. I cant even use them again as far as design goes, now they are just extra material in my closet as also iys not a beeding set its a duvet cover set which meant I also had to spend money separate on a duvet.

Nice, glam *DUVET COVER* set
Some of y'all don't seem to know what a duvet cover is. It's basically a pillowcase for a duvet, which is the big, fluffy thing that's warm. Without a duvet to cover, yes, it will have the consistency of sheets. The whole point of a duvet and a duvet cover is that you can change out the look of your bed as often as you'd like, and you can wash one or the other separately for ease. A duvet cover is not a comforter! All that said, this held up nicely in the wash, fits my queen duvet well, and adds a nice pop of glam to my room. I could see the dots maybe fading with time (haven't yet so far), but... it was only $38, so I'd happily buy something else if/when that happens. For now though, love it! If I continue to love it, may spring for a pricier version that will have more longevity.

Update: The metallic doesn’t wash off but gets on my skin if I am laying directly on it. The shams also. Check out the pic of the customer who posted is hands. Took one star away... I love this cover! Most comforters are too hot for me. I have a blanket that is perfect but needed a cover. It’s smooth, soft and has a button closure instead of a zipper, but so far it’s not a problem. The ties on each corner is great so my blanket doesn’t slide down out of place. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak on it. A bit expensive, but worth the money. Also, the two decorative pillows are the cutest. I didn’t read that it came with the set so it was a nice surprise. I would recommend. P.S. In the pictures my blanket is not in the duvet yet. I fixed my bed to see what it looked like before I went through the trouble of adding it in.

Pretty but……
Bought this for my daughter’s bed. It’s beautiful and she loves the look. The only thing I struggle with is that is so soft and light weight that even with the ties, the filler slips around inside of it so it takes longer to straighten it out.

A tad sad
Sadly after washing it once, the silver has faded on the pillow cases but the duvet cover is fine. It is super comfortable and soft to the touch so I will just hide the faded part of the pillow cases and continue using them. I followed the washing instruction to a T

*THIS IS NOT A COMFORTER, IT IS A DUVET COVER*
UPDATE: I have now washed, and slept in these sheets, and the fabric IS fairly thin, but it is also very soft. As long as you take care of them I think they should last a while. The only complaint I have as of now is how big the duvet cover is. I have a queen bed and a queen duvet, and there's like a foot of extra space at the end of the cover. I was thinking of getting a king sized duvet anyway, so that should fill it nicely and it will actually be the size I like, but for now it just looks kinda weird. Otherwise, a really cute set! I see a lot of 1 stars based off the sheet not being a comforter, it's just a super thin sheet, false advertising, not worth it, etc. And it irks me when I see products get false reviews because people are not using them properly, as they don't seem to actually realize what they are purchasing. There is another product just like this with a comforter instead of a duvet cover if that is what you want, but you WILL NEED A DUVET FOR THIS SET. I have not used this yet as I just turned my bed over with fresh sheets right before receiving this, so I will update with pictures when I change them. This is a cute product! I had a fit of pink shopping for my dark blue painted bedroom, and this seems like a fun change for me! Upon opening it I was impressed with how soft the material it! They are thin, so may not last super long. The gold I don't expect to last forever either, but it looks and feels good at first touch and glance. As soon as I opened, I washed the set and put them away, and they came out just as soft, and does wrinkle a little bit, but much less than most of my other sheets. It is a bit expensive, but I was willing to pay it for something fun, comfy, and different. I won't find a decent duvet set for under $50, and this comes with 2 super cute throw pillows. So far, I don't regret this purchase. Stay tuned tho!

Pretty and soft but doesn’t fit a blanket properly
The quality of the product itself is good. I wasn’t a fan of the cover having buttons over a zipper but it’s not that much of an issue. My only complaint is that the size of the cover isn’t accurate. I ordered a queen and it is fine for the width but the length was nearly a foot too long. This causes my duvet to slide around inside the cover and bunch up into a ball. I tried multiple duvets and all had the same issue with the cover not fitting well causing it to bunch inside.

Wished it fit better.
Love the fabric and fun design and fact that it came with 2 decorator cushions, but just wished it had been cut to fit a normal-sized queen duvet or comforter. Appears to be cut in a square and as such is an inch or 2 too narrow. Still not bad value for the money as it was quite reasonably priced and may fit a full or small queen duvet/comforter better.

Poor quality and craftsmanship
The stitching was bad the material very thin, and you could see that the seams are coming apart, even before it was used. While it looks great in the photos, it’s disappointing in execution
