Works very well. The battery is meh, but the shaver does the job.
Shaving is always a challenge for me, and while it will be a few more weeks before I'm sure I think I've found a shaver that works for me. I'm a 60 year old male, with skin that is uber sensitive to shaving. I've struggled with it my whole life (well the post puberty part!). I've tried cartridge razors (from 1 to 6 blades) safety razors, one blade electric razors, foil shavers and rotary shavers like this one. All eventually leave me with razor bumps. I've tried growing a beard too, but I end up breaking out from that too. It isn't visible, but it is still painful. On to this shaver. I think I'm having better luck because they have moved away from their 'lift and cut' system. This shaver doesn't shave as closely as others I've used, but I can live with that if I don't get bumps. It is very quiet, light and easy to hold. I have to use a VERY light touch to avoid bumps, but if I do I have good success. I shave slowly, but even so it is quite a bit quicker than a wet shave. The shaver struggles a bit with the beard on my chin, it takes a couple of passes (again with a very light touch). A more expensive model with a stronger motor would probably be a bit more efficient, and if this continues to work well I might consider an upgrade in the future, but this one gets the job done. I have the best results using Lectric Shave first (and washing it off after). Occasionally there will be a hair the shaver won't pick up and I'll use attached trimmer to get that. I am glad the shaver will work plugged in. This was a feature that was one reason I selected this model. My experience with electric shavers is despite whatever 'warning' system they have they tend to poop out without warning. This one was no exception. The 'warning' light didn't come on until AFTER the shaver stopped. On the plus side I didn't notice any decline in performance until a few seconds before it died. Because it will work plugged in I was able to finish the shave with no difficulty. I shave my face, neck (front and back) and the top part of my head every day. I don't quite get 4 shaves from a full charge (though again I shave very slowly takes me about 10 minutes each time). But 3 full shaves is fine by me. If you want a BBS shave, this isn't the device for you, but if you are satisfied with a clean shaven look (no visible stubble at hand shake distance but they'll feel it if you kiss) and are troubled by bumps, give this a shot. Just remember not to press it harder against the skin to get it to shave closer (it will, but then you'll get bumps.)

an astonishingly good shave
I've shaved with a safety razor for a long long time. I had a Sears electric razor twenty years ago, but this scraped my fairly sensitive skin, so I tried a straight razor, and after some bloodshed, hit upon the safety razor. I still think the safety razor gives the best shave, if what you're after is a smoothness that would content a cross-dresser, and are willing to change the blade every shave and shave three times: with, across, and finally against the grain, with no more pressure than the weight of the instrument supplies. But this Norelco is a marvel. It gets everywhere (right under the nose, at the neck by the Adam's apple, right under the chin) and does a fine job without scraping. The three heads means it glides along adapting to the shape of your face. It gives you an excellent clean-shaven appearance, and is wonderful for tidying up the five o'clock shadow. Easy to clean, study, charging (I think) quite rapidly, compared to some other USB items I own, this is just magnificent. The pop-up side-burn trimmer is a touch I really appreciate. For sensitive skin: gentle as you please. Quick and easy to use or clean. Outstanding in every way.

Cuts nicely
I really like this shaver. I needed to replace the previous shaver because it was jerking the hair out of my face, it hurt. It was also taking a long time to shave my face. I decided to try this brand and I was able to shave my face within a minute and My face was so smooth. I have not felt smooth skin like that for over six months. I recommend this shaver.

Best electric shaver I've tried. Strong and reliable, though not a great battery.
The cutters are deceptively good at their job, and truthfully last longer than advertised. The cleanup is relatively simple, all parts sliding into place clearly and easier than a lego construction. Running water into the spaces will clean up any buildup save for at the base of the poles, but simply wiggling those while the water runs cleans those too. You will likely have to stop and shake it out several times while shaving depending on how thick the hair you're shaving is, but opening the tray is nothing but a flick of a button and you need only tap the side against something before clicking the hatch back down and continuing onwards. The battery life lasts roughly 30-40 minutes, but takes hours to charge completely. Not especially great, but that could be something isolated to my specific unit or just necessary due to how much power gets routed through the thing. It's tough enough that I can shave down my sideburns without issue, and could likely use it's secondary shaving arm to go at my hair if I really wanted to. Regardless, good product. Would say I'd order again, but I don't see any signs this thing will be failing soon.

Great replacment for older model
I had an older version of this shaver that after many years had a bad battery that would not hold a charge. That older model was not able to run off of AC power alone, so I needed a replacement. I don't really need the wireless function but this new model can run on AC power alone as well, which was a huge plus for me. So, if the battery eventually dies, I'll be able to still use this shaver. I have read some complaints that this new model wasn't as powerful. I don't think there is any power drop with this new model, but it does sound quieter. I think that's why people think it's less powerful. The motor does not sound like a chainsaw anymore. It seems to use different gearing ratios to achieve the same performance. Maybe that's just my observation, but I'm very pleased with this new shaver.

GREAT SHVAER
I've been using electric shavers since i was 19. I am 55 now. This one is softer than the las one i had. my last 3 shavers have been Phillips and the batery life of them is amazing it las for the whole month without charging them (i shave everyday), this one is no exception, the cleaning is very easy and the most important thing for me that is the performace it is great, acctually this one is the best shaver i have had so far.

Buen producto hasta ahora
Recién adquirí este "nuevo" modelo 2300 y de primera impresión me gusto y también funcionó adecuadamente, tanto el cabezal como la recortadora. Vengo de estarme rasurando con la Norelco viajera de dos navajas por lo que mi piel ya esta acostumbrada y no tuve ninguna irritación, además de que soy de barba rala. El único inconveniente es que la batería NO es de litio sino de NI-MH, por lo que auguro no mucha longevidad, espero que por lo menos me dure los dos años que tiene de garantía; de cualquier forma estaré al tanto de realizar ciclos de carga completos. Un aspecto que me gustó es que la puedo usar mientras se esta cargando. Incluye cabezal de tres navajas con recortadora, tapa, cargador y manual (no incluye cepillo de limpieza ni estuche).

Últimamente he optado por razuradoras, esta no seria la excepción, ya que la cera irrita mi piel por ser sensible La batería dura bastante bien, en mi caso para 3 depiladas, en cuanto a la carga si dura su tiempecito, pero lo compensa con dejar suave la piel me gusta porque tiene un indicador de cuando esta esta apunto de agotarse y cuando esta totalmente cargada Ahora bien su calidad, diría que es excelente, al menos con buen cuidado, tuve una que estuvo conmigo durante años, espero esta también

Buena máquina con dos peros...
Buena rasuradora, fácil de usar y limpiar. El ruido que hace es menor al de otras, pero no esperes demasiado en ese aspecto. Aunque funciona bastante bien, hay que tomar en cuenta dos aspectos. El primero es que tarda demasiado en cargar, unas 6 horas aproximadamente, lo cual comparado con otras rasuradoras me parece demasiado, aunque se compensa con que se puede usar mientras está conectada a la electricidad. El segundo es que no rasura tan al ras, debes darte varias pasadas para que no deje restos de barba, lo cual con otros equipos no pasa. Sin embargo, estoy satisfecho con la compra.

Bonita pero no me termina de convencer
Llevo usándola algunas semanas, y siempre deja pelitos en algunas áreas por lo que termino usando el rastrillo igual. Para rebajar la barba antes de rasurar cuando es "larga" o retocar el rasurado de menos de 3 días creo que está bien, pero si es más de eso igual vas a tener que usar el rastrillo por eso de los pelos que quedan... Además de eso tienes que pensar en que la vida útil de la pila puede durar relativamente poco y que las navajas se desafilan "rápido". Una ventaja es que no termino ensuciando todo el lavabo cuando utilizo solo esta máquina, y también es muy fácil de limpiar. Creo que invertiré en un rastrillo de seguridad y hojas desechables la siguiente vez. Este tipo de máquinas son bonitas y prácticas pero si quieres un buen rasurado al ras o sumamente limpio, esto no te lo dará.
