As Briggs and Stratton is a USA made product, or has been in years past, over the best sellers China seller, 'Sun Joe' brand and has a stellar reputation for quality and craftsmanship, I am always looking for made in the USA, which until we get the market share back?, is difficult to find items used in the past, cheap labor, pricing and craftsmanship in all. The basic setup instructions are pretty good. I verified all the cautionary notes and connections etc as being correct. When I filled the Soap tank with the Briggs and Stratton multi-purpose cleaner I purchased along with the foam applicator, which I haven't tried yet, figuring its of the same name over other cleaners, and filled tank with water, I proceeded to engage the wand. I aimed the nozzle towards a safe area and then down towards the concrete driveway, waiting for the soap to appear. Nothing. I checked the tube between tank and pump. No blue colored detergent fluid, nor clear fluid (water). I noticed upon engaging pump sprayer again that water was going up towards the soap tank and decided to wait for water to get to tank and with reverse priming, maybe it would use pressure of the liquids in soap tank to reverse flow, back into pump. No change. I checked owners manual. It said to use black detergent tip, which quick setup guide didn't say. I tried it. Nothing. It also said water pressure may be too high? As I can't regulate output of B&S sprayer, I proceeded to lower the faucet pressure untilI was 1 full turn from water shutoff, with no change. Perhaps the B&S cleaner doesn't indicate (visual) soap product on ground along with water? Perhaps it's not a true soap product, but says it helps get rid of direct and other products, so?. Anyway, after multi-minutes of waiting to see soap, I decided to use water and hand wash the cars with a mitt and tried and true Meguiar's Gold Class car wash. Mothers also works great. I soaped up the cars (2) and used pressure washer to rinse off cars. 1 thing I don't like about this product other than soap dispenser, is there is no shut off between soap tank and pump so you can regulate soap onto surface to be cleaned and also, there is no drain valve under tank to drain soap at end of long periods of non-use or during non-use/winter (cold) season. An alternate could be to change either the wand or other electrical line to have a selector switch for soap or no soap. I did use recommended 8 oz's detergent to water ratio. At this point, I'm not impressed, but perhaps I have mis-read the instructions, in English, so I will try 1 more time and if I find an error, will write a follow-on review. If not, probably another review prior to throwing the device into the trash bin and going with a more expensive product my neighbors tell me is bullet proof. We'll see. Hope this helps those out there who are considering these types of products. Take life easy. - 11/06/2022: Well it's November and still no soap is coming out of the nozzle. I had to give it a star to proceed, but I'd give it -5 stars if possible. This product is terrible and I'd like my money back. Oh well. Just goes to show, just because it's a well known brand, verify before trusting.
