meets spec's and cheap
I normally am the handy man around my place. When the wife bought it to my attention that the washer needed a repair I looked around and found this gasket for a fair price compare to other vendors. The product arrived on time in good order. I installed it with much concern. I did need help stretching the band to fix the gasket in place. all in all it was pretty simple. If we ever need another one I will purchase it from here.

Fits just like it should, definitely not the easiest job but it can be done

Fixed the problem
It’s the part I needed and when I needed it. Was easy enough to put on and the job was done in 45 mins. It’s a bit of a pita to get the new rubber lip inserted correctly but once it is, it all flows back into the machine. I would buy and do it again in an instant as I hate paying people on things I can do myself.

Still leaks
Electrolux just has a bad design. The replacement leaks. The door seal on a brand new Electrolux washer occasionally leaks too.

Stops the leak, be aware of a tricky install and rubber residue the first few washes.
Worked well to stop the leak that had developed at the door. Not super easy to install. The inner spring ring is a tough one to get back into place, but that's the design, not the fault of the part. It will have rubber residue all over the place for the first couple washes as it seats to the the drum. After that, it's good.

They dont make it easy to replace parts on a washer or dryer but I got it done and no more water leaking!

Good Product, difficult install
This took me an hour and 15 minutes to remove and install. I am a very mechanical person and it was not easy. It wasn't that it was difficult to figure out how to install but instead the physical leverage required of your fingers to work the rubber around the metal rim, then stretching the snap ring and spring retainer back into place. I would imagine that there are specific tools the manufacturer has for this installation. It's definitely possible to install this yourself but be prepared for some trial and error that will likely result in frustration before you finally succeed! I recommend having a second set of hands when installing the spring retainer as that was the most difficult part. Apart from the install, it fits great and does it's job!

We laughed, we cried...
It was a beeatch to put in but didn’t take too long. Like the reviewer “Chip” said above, ‘seals well, squeals well’. You definitely need two people, and some clamps to hold it in place. My wife’s little hands helped at one point get the “lip” of the thing to seat just right where I couldn’t do it, or didn’t have the patience. Also like the reviewer Chip states, this thing started rubbing against the metal lip right away and started squealing. It’s going to rub for the first 10 wash cycles or so, and then it calms down. During the first 10 or so cycles, the running also emits tiny little gray pieces of rubber, (see chips picture above). That also stops eventually. It works great now.
