It is assembled incorrectly
When you get this diffuser it will not fit on your 2001 Elchim hair dryer because the rubber on the outside is turned the wrong way and needs to be flipped inside out so the bigger rubber part faces in, then it will fit perfectly and I almost returned it, but my sweet hubby figured it out.

Nice tight fit on my hairdryer, does the job!
The head of the diffuser attachment has silicone grip pieces. It's already designed to fit the Elchim hairdryers its compatible with (mine is the Elchim 2001), but the silicon pieces give it a nice tight fit. It's never fallen off or gotten loose while drying. I use the diffuser to dry my curls, and this attachment did the job nicely. I had voluminous and bouncy curls after drying. I'm glad I was able to find this product on Amazon, I had trouble finding it at the beauty supply retailers in my area.

Doesn’t fit dress code
This was supposed to fit on a dress code dryer but does not. Sent back.

Scam labelling
This came with a stick-on label that says compatible with the 2001 ... but I was having a lot of trouble getting the attachment onto the dryer. So I peeled back the label to find that the actual box does not mention the 2001 anywhere--it says "only for 3900 and elchim light."
