Soooooo Close To Perfect; Still Awesome
This thing is amazingly affective (effective? somewhere my old high school English teacher is giving me a C-). It does what it says it does - all of your makeup gone, every time, no questions asked. I have no idea how it locks it away the way it does - when I rinse it out after I use it, no makeup drips out. Yet it washes completely clean when thrown in the laundry. Magic? Prayers? Capitalism? I have no idea but it works. The only thing keeping it from perfection is for us folks with well-performing mascara or gel eyeliner - or in my case, both. It’s gonna take more than a few swipes to make that disappear. And since it’s your delicate eye area, you don’t wanna be pulling and tugging too much. And if you stop short of pulling and tugging, you’ll find that most of the product is now under your eye adding to dark circles most of us spend a lifetime covering up. Point: you’re not gonna be able to rely on this for your eye liner/mascara. Shadow - yes. Black stuff - no. Speaking of black stuff, I have been using this towel for a while now and am always amazed at how it comes out almost perfectly brand new after a ride in the washing machine. Over time, the stain from the black stuff will start to hang around but lightly and only in certain areas. Just be aware it might happen. Still, can’t pry this thing outta my foundation wielding little hands.

It actually works!
I got this with VERY low expectations. At best I thought it would get my foundation and whatnot and I would have to use makeup remover for my waterproof mascara. I was shocked to see how easily it took off my mascara. Just a few gentle swipes and my waterproof mascara was gone. It’s actually better than the makeup remover I’ve used consistently for years because it was the best I’ve ever found for waterproof mascara. 100% recommend.

Love theses
These work really well at getting eye makeup off and wash up nice and clean. Have had my for over a year and it still works.

Yep, the reviews are legit.
Amazingly effective. I don’t wear makeup all the time, often because I hate taking it off at night. I’m now wearing makeup more than ever because of how easily my Makeup Eraser takes it off. I will second what other reviewers have said: get it sopping wet, with the warmest water you can stand, then add more water the second it’s not dripping wet. To get it wet enough, you’re going to want to make sure there aren’t any spots of lighter pink left; keep letting it absorb water if all of it isn’t dark pink. It will take a bit for it to get this wet. Reviewers who say it wrecked their skin were definitely not getting the cloth wet enough, because when it’s not crazy wet, you do feel the fibers against your skin, and I can imagine it being rough if you used it that way constantly. If you feel the fibers rubbing against your skin, get it wetter. When the cloth is wet enough, it’s so easy for me to get the makeup off that it almost seems to be melting off my face by magic...it’s almost spooky. I generally cradle the cloth with my other hand when I’m taking off my makeup, to keep it from being heavy and swinging as it hangs down, and also to prevent it from losing more water as it takes off the makeup. Other reviewers have said you can get oodles of microfiber cloths and use them for this purpose for much cheaper, with the same effect. I’m sure you can, but it’s wonderful to have a dedicated cloth just for your makeup. The tag even says “Makeup Eraser” on it, so others in your household have no excuse for thinking it’s a dishcloth or washcloth, especially if you get it in pink or another bright color. I think its odd shape helps prevent this confusion, too. One reason I’m glad I went with this cloth instead of a generic microfiber cloth is that one side of it has fibers that are shorter, presumably designed with the optimal length to take off makeup, and the other side has fibers of a longer length that are meant to exfoliate your skin, if desired (at least, according to included instructions). As with many other reviewers, I just use one area of the cloth at a time and can use it with at least a week’s worth of makeup that way before washing. Often longer for me, since I generally just wear eye makeup/mascara. The instructions say you can use cleanser or soap with the cloth if you want, but I don’t—there is no need for more than water. I bought two Makeup Erasers so I always have one clean when the other’s in the wash. You’re supposed to wash them in hot water, and they can go through the dryer, so there’s no need to babysit them as delicates. The instructions say it doesn’t matter which detergent or fabric softener you use, with the latter described as optional. I wash mine in a mesh garment bag so I can find it easier in the wash. In a pinch, I’ve even washed it by hand in the sink using liquid hand soap and a bit of scrubbing, though it’s much simpler to just throw it in the washer with a load of towels. I truly only wish I’d bought a Makeup Eraser sooner. Just buy one already. Better yet, buy two. So, SO freaking worth it. :)

Works Great
I initially purchased this for my wife as a stocking stuffer at Christmas. I couldn’t believe how much she liked it. It works fantastic and I will purchase another if this one everywhere is out right now.

I LOVE IT!!! No more skin damage or breakouts!
I love the softness of the cloth and it even removes my mascara!! I’ve seen some of the reviews saying it doesn’t remove all the makeup and it’s not supposed to! I use it first to remove majority of makeup, then I use my facial cleanser. I have very sensitive skin and before using this I had skin damage around my mouth and chin from trying to clean my pores and had breakouts. Since using this cloth, the skin damage is gone, and no breakouts and my skin is glowing!

Absolutely brilliant, definitely recommend
I was very sceptical before buying this but after over 6 months of use I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have ever bought. There are a few reasons why: 1. I very rarely use wipes now, reducing my environmental impact and saving me money (this makeup eraser soon pays for itself) 2. My skin is so much better because with this it removes my makeup a lot better and I only have to use water. It also exfoliates skin really well. (I have sensitive skin so found it hard to use most facial cleansers) 3. I’ve been using it for over 6 months and once washed it still looks and performs like new so I can see it lasting a LONG time. 4. It’s bigger than I expected so I can normally use it for about a week (by using different parts of it each time I wash my face) before having to wash it. It works brilliant whether wearing light, everyday makeup or heavy going out makeup. I would definitely recommend!!

Well advertised, but a waste of money..
This was horrible for me. I washed it as per instructions and the first time I used it, my face was completely covered by its lint. It wasn’t a great experience, but I tried washing it again and giving it a second try. It kept leaving lint on my face and washing it by hands didn’t work. I had to throw it in the washing machine after every use. So I just left it.. quite disappointing

Fell apart after washing
I haven't actually used the product yet. I bought 2 one for myself and one as a present for my daughter. I washed both of them as instructed. Disappointingly one of them has just fallen apart. The binding that is stitched around the material obviously wasn't sewn very well and there are holes in two places where the cloth has come away from the binding. The material seems to be falling apart too. Disappointed as not cheap.

What a rip off! Unless I received some different cloth
Was sooo excited about the magical make up remover and was soooo disappointed with it, it actually hurts (literally my face is on fire) Didn't completely remove eye make just spread it all over my face. Left glitter and the pink fluff that came off the cloth all over my face. Left my face on dry and irritated I sensitive skin (apparently perfect for it yeah my a&&) Do not understand the hype unless I have received some knock off cloth. Anyway asked for refund that's how bad it was. Shame!
