Worth giving a try!
I received the Platinum Pets Modern Double Diner Cat Stand in black damaged but will leave a fair review because Amazon Customer Service always goes above and beyond to replace or refund for any items damaged in transit which is a plus. I purchased this diner cat stand for our 6 month old kitten who was sliding and flipping his stainless steel bowls all over the place. The stand and bowls are small but good for kittens, young cats and small dogs (but you will need to fill it as needed throughout the day because the bowls are very small and might not hold a whole day's worth of food and/ or water). It stands under 4" tall, is about 10.5" long and 4" wide. The bowls are wide rim bowls, and are about 5" across. The total weight of the double diner stand with the bowls in it is about a pound (empty, without food and/ or water in the bowls). There are two bowls that (if not damaged as mine were) fit snugly side by side in the stand and will not slide out of the stand or knock over easily (unless the entire stand is knocked over). Overall the Platinum Pets Modern Double Diner Cat Stand is a good way to keep your cat's food and water in place especially if they like to play with their food and water bowls as mine does! Fortunately my little guy has not been adventurous enough to flip the whole stand over (yet, and yes, I am expecting that in time he will lol). The stand is finished with a matte black powdercoat. The bowls are embossed with paws. They are dishwasher-safe and are said to be guaranteed to not rust. With a lifetime guarantee its worth giving a try. If at some point the stand and/ or bowls do not live up to your expectations or become defective, they can be replaced at no cost to you, so its worth giving a try at the low cost of $12.00!

A perfect solution for two cats.
This feeder is perfect. The serving size is exactly right for cats. I feed my cats outdoors and I needed to find a solution that make it difficult for bugs to get into the dish especially slugs. To that end I also purchased copper slug tape and wrapped it around all the exposed legs. It completely solved that problem. It also somehow stands up to the various and frequent raccoons that roam the neighborhood. Because it has rubber feet, it doesn't get knocked over easily and because the bowls themselves are rubberized around the lip, the stand stays upright and has yet to be knocked over by raccoons. Excellent product.

UPDATED REVIEW - FINISH ON BOWLS WILL CHIP/PEEL OFF!!
WARNING!! I am updating to warn purchasers of this - that the black finish on the bowls will peel off . . . not entirely, which is the bigger issue - it will start flaking off in pieces . . .which makes this dangerous for your pets. I did get a lot of use out of this - but, now that this happened, I would never purchase this item again - this could happen at any time and could be dangerous. My previous review: I love the finish on the bowls - and the entire set looks great. Two things I'd change: 1) There is a small plastic logo tab on the top of both that pops off easily and unexpectedly. Both times it fell into the food, could have easily been swallowed had I not noticed. If you buy this, pop these off yourself before using. 2) It just needs to be a little bit bigger. The bowls are just a bit small for my taste. Maybe half-again bigger would be about right.

Sleek modern raised pretty dishes in holder
Nice set for smaller animal. My car is quite large & am trying to find ones that are big enough & high enough. Otherwise, it is made really great.

If you have small breeds this might work for you
I have three dogs, not cats and their all small breed. I thought this would be ideal for my Pom but she doesn't like it much. My two other dogs go to it and eat out of it. It wasn't bad for the Amazon Deal of the Day, I don't regret buying it but again it's very small.

perfect for my 8 pound poodle
Had to put cushioning around rim to keep from rattling while dog ate. The metal against metal sound freaked the dog out. Other than that, perfect for my 8 pound poodle.
