Stable, holds quite a bit, and looks nice

I was tired of buying moderately priced, but not long lasting hand soap dispensers for my kitchen sink. This was definitely more than I would normally spend, but I am so glad that I did! > It holds enough foaming hand soap so I don't have to refill it constantly. > I like that the small clear space at the bottom that lets you know when you need to refill it. > The large dispenser spout is so easy to use and the whole thing is very stable while pressing on it. > It cleans up easily. OXO always seems to be worth the bit extra, in my opinion.

Excellent foam soap dispenser made for hand soap

This is an excellent foam soap dispenser. It is easy to push and provides just enough to wash hands. It saves a _lot_ of money over buying premade foamy soap, which tends to cost as much as regular liquid hand soap despite there being only a small amount of soap mixed with mostly water. Note that some reviews are bad from people who put plain liquid soap or dish detergent in it and don't know that it must be greatly diluted with water for it to dispense properly.

A simple perfect solution

We had to sacrifice our in-counter soap dispenser for a spray nozzle. It’s an odd (and old but beautiful) sink we have in the kitchen. Needed something to match black and stainless (it does), and easy to use with hands dirty or greasy (it is), and wouldn’t slide all around if using it with one free hand (it doesn’t). We chose right the first time. Thank you. Oh, and so far no leaks or drips.

Relaible!

Finally a reliable soap dispenser. I use it for dish soap - and it dispenses the perfect amount. I can easily press with one hand and the bottle stays sturdy. It was more than I wanted to spend but hopefully it lasts longer than the other cheapies I've had before. I would have bought 2 if they were labeled hand soap & dish soap. Don't hesitate...this is the greatest soap pump.

Foaming, not good for dishsoap

Another great product from Oxo, great look and functionality. Loses 1 star for being way over priced and marketed alongside (this was part of a package for me) a dish brush and sponge holder, which is also great but I quickly learned it only works for foaming and that means diluting your soap to a 1/4 solution (1 part soap 4 parts water). This means you have to pump 5 times to get the same suds. Fine for handwashing where 1 or 2 pumps is enough, but terrible for getting soap on your dishes, forces you to pick it up and squeeze a bunch of times. Looks like reviews here are for both the regular and the foaming pumps. People that rave about it for dishes never seem to mention foaming and those that mention foaming seem to leave out dishes???? FYI- I measured it precisely and found that the clear part at the bottom is exactly 1/5th of what the pump can hold (assuming you stop at the fill line), so just fill with soap to where you can see its filled the clear part, then fill the rest with water to the line. Idk if oxo made it like this on purpose, but assuming they did it's a genius show of appreciation for their customers that makes their product even easier to use. Highly recommend for handsoap, would warn you away for using with dish soap.

Nice features

What I like: the maximum fill tab inside is a nice feature, prevents accidental over-filling and spillage of liquid from the container. The pump fastens to the cup easily with only about 1/8 turn, Overall product quality looks to be very good. Not so much: Others commented that this dispenser was easy to use while holding it single-handed. I do not find that to be the case, it is awkward to try to use with one hand unless it is standing on the counter. Works fine with the dispenser standing on the counter.

Finally - a soap dispeser that does not leak!

This soap dispenser is sturdy and has a grippy base so it does not slide on the sink/countertop. It fits nicely on the corner of the stainless steel sink top. It is the only soap dispenser I have found that does not leak at the spout or at the twist top. Great design - looks good and functions perfectly.

Leaks At The Base *see update

Over the years I have had great luck with OXO products, and have always been willing to spend more on them because of their superior design and reliability. I bought this soap dispenser in January of 2023. I thought it looked good and worked well. Unfortunately by the end of March 2023--not quite 3 months later-- the dispenser began to leak from the base, as you can see in the photo. I had a lot of faith in this company and I am really disappointed that they put this product on the market. Oxo needs to either fix this product or redesign it, because otherwise they are spoiling their reputation for quality in order to make a few quick bucks, which is a totally offensive business practice. UPDATE: If you turn the dispenser over you'll find a product number and phone number for OXO on the bottom. I called them and was able to quickly speak to an operator who took down my address and is promising to send another dispenser out to replace the defective one. My advice is that if you get a dispenser that leaks, then call the company and let them know.

Fantastic dish soap dispenser!

Love this! Read the reviews prior to purchase. Glad I disregarded most reviews. This is fantastic. Easy to use. Easy to pick up while washing dishes. Has stayed clean, no drips, no oozing of soap. Love the clean look on our counter. Excellent product.

Very nice, wish it had a longer spout

Very good quality, but wish the spout was longer so it does not get soap on the dispenser. I also hope that this will not do what all the cheap ones do, that is drip and leak half the soap into the sink. Time will tell. Be sure to turn the top until you hear a click, or it will leak soap from under the top.
