Fabulous hair product for men

Great versatile product with no build up and great control

Amazing product! I've been using this product for 2 years now and never thought of trying other brands. I have used gums on the past but they tend to have strange consistencies, either gooey or extremely dry. I like this one because the consistency is great, I can either apply it directly to my hair, wet or dry, and achieve great hold and overall results. The thing I love the most is that when I comb over my hair, I don't see any build up on the comb, unlike other hold products like mousse, it makes me feel like the product is more clean and better for my hair. I use Davines shampoos on daily basis and this is as great as the shampoos. The product is versatile as if you wet the product once it is in your hands you can get something more shiny and extra control, if you feel like matte look skip the water and works great too. I dont find the smell to be an issue, I am indifferent to it, it has never bothered me or anyone around me, while not odor-less it is not something that you notice a lot, but you can tell it has a smell as you are applying the product.

Works Like a Charm

I bought this for my fiancé as he just got a new haircut where he needs to do some styling at the top. The woman who cut his hair was using this to style so I went to Amazon to see if I could buy it and sure enough, I found it! He loves it and uses it every day. It's clear once you rub it in your hands and style it, but a little goes a long way. If you use too much, it can appear white on your hair (especially if you have dark colored hair). But you just have to rub it in more for the white color to go away. All in all, this was a great hair styling purchase and I highly recommend it.

I only use this brand for hair products

This is by far my favorite brand for hair products. I use a few different products from them. It doesn't irritate my skin and holds great.

BRING BACK NO.10 POLISHING WAX!

This product didn’t work for me nearly as well as the shine and hold one in the plain gold tin. I found it dries really quickly, so I have to have my hair ready to quickly rub this in my fingers and get it applied before it dries, which is very sticky too. I don’t know if I can exchange this, but I’d like to hear from the manufacturer. I used to use Davines No. 10 polishing wax in the pink tin, and it was the BEST was ever! I used it for 15+ years - why did you discontinue it????? It smells amazing, works amazing, I’m disappointed you took away a great product.

Perfect natural matte look!

This is one of my favorite hair products....mostly for one reason...it goes on Matte! Most other products I use end up with a grainy finish (if they are white) or shiny (if they are clear). While this product is definitely on the pricier side, you get what you pay for. If you need want a good hold, with a great finish that looks really natural, this is it!

Wrong product

I love this wax, and have brought it before from this supplier, but this time they sent the wrong item - the blue label strong hold, which I returned and found another supplier

Wrong product, correct label

This product is great and I usually get it from a local hair dressers. First time buying through amazon - got sent the ‘strong’ version despite it having ‘medium’ on the label hence the poor review.
