I was attracted to this collar because I am environmentally conscience. I bought the bright green leash along with this collar. I have a silver Labrador and I wanted a color that would pop off his coat and one that would be easy to clean. I was also concerned because it's made of rubber that it would smell like a bicycle inner tube, but surprisingly it did not smell at all, even straight out of the product packaging. This collar checks all my boxes. My Labrador like most, can't stay out of the water and his other collars always stays wet throughout the day. Not only does it clean off without soap it's basically waterproof. Only the fabric is a bit damp when it gets wet. I love the seatbelt clasp. Not only is it sturdy, unlike some plastic clasps, this is finished in chrome with the detailed logo. It's the highlight of the collar. The bottle opener/leash ring is a multi-function tool that is also finished in chrome and is an excellent amenity. I love, love this collar.

This leach is the best leash I've every owned. I choose the bright green to match the collar. Being environmental conscience I was attracted to the recycled material, but I was concerned that the rubber would smell like a bicycle inner tube. Surprisingly, it did not even have an odor straight out of the product packaging. I have a 100 lb Labrador and every leash I've used with him slips or binds my hand when he pulls. Because of the rubber and because it is flat, it neither slips nor binds my hand. It is very flexible. The fabric material is soft and easy to clean. I didn't have to even use soap to clean off the dirt. We have half a dozen leashes, but this one is the go to leash that everyone in our household chooses when they take our dog out. We love, love, love this leash. I highly recommend this leash if you're looking for the perfect leash!

Night visibility, waterproof
Reflective collar helps me see my dog at night. Love that it's waterproof so it doesn't get mildewy when we go to the lake and he inevitably goes for a swim. 10/10

Love this leash!
Bought this a few months ago to use with a coupler for our 2 large dogs (65 and 80 lbs), and it is a wonderful product! The reflective strip is very bright, and even though is only applied to one side, is enough to make sure you are visible to passing cars, biker, other pedestrians, and possibly low flying aircraft... and does not seem to show any signs of fading, peeling, or any other deterioration yet. The leash is well constructed and has held up well so far, no fraying or unraveling, and is sturdy enough so that I do not feel worried that it or the hardware on it may break/come apart, even with 145 lbs of dogs pulling against it. My boyfriend thinks it is too springy, and it does have a little bit of snap to it, but not so much that it stretches. The bottle opener works nicely and is very convenient, also, for the clip on bag dispenser on walks. The whole leash is a little heavier than a standard double-ply nylon leash and takes some getting used to between the weight and the springiness, but I find those both to be good things in day to day use.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I was given an Otter Creek Brewery collar as a gift about 4 years ago and it withstood 4 years of a high energy English Setter running through brush, briers, mud, swamps, and things you don't even want to contemplate. That collar was finally getting a little ratty. This one is of similar quality and should last another 4 years at least. Love the reflective material on this one.

Ready to buy again!
We purchased this leash for our 54lb pitbull Violet when she was about 1. Now, 3 years later, the reflective fabric now wearing off and separating from the leash and we are ready to buy from them again. Excellent quality, the leash has been sturdy but also very flexible, it doesnt cut into your hand like other leashes when your dog pulls. I also love that the company is reusing materials that woukd otherwose have gone in a landfill. The refective strip and bottle opener are a bonus.

I loved this leash so much that I ordered 2 different patterns of it for my mom and brother and their dogs! Awesome leash, awesome company! They have great other stuff too!

Great reflection, not so great sewing
This would be a wonderful collar, the material is amazingly reflective and it has a really secure clasp (the bottle opener makes a secure lead attachment). Unfortunately it's sewn on at an angle so the reflective strip overhangs the soft rubber on one side and rubs at the neck.

My dog broke the buckle on his first collar like this, so I ordered a new one. I like it because it does not retain odours and is easily washable. I would recommend this item. The bottle opener is a good thing to have, depending on where you are and you need one.
