Look nice but aren't that comfortable

I ordered "Bright White Leather/Optic White, 9 US" the Cole Haan box they came in also read "Bright White/White, 9 B" and the shoe tongue says 9 B, Made in Vietnam, among other things so seems to check out. They seem as pictured (though the listing pictures don't seem that great/professional tbh), and look pretty nice on the foot. They're very light and I like the slim profile of the sides. My initial thought was the color is white, but seems a little on the greyish side. Standing up/walking in them was not very comfortable. The cushioning on the sole is pretty slim (I'd say they're just a smidge squishier than Converse). The outer edge feels raised, causing the feet to push inwards towards the arches. The arch area is not 'completely' flat, but 'feels' like there is no arch support. In fact, it feels like the opposite of arch support. When I step forward the top fabric feels stiff so I'm conscious of every step. This would probably feel better after breaking in, but I don't like the idea that shoes need to be broken in to be comfortable. These are probably fine for most who don't have foot issues/for shorter periods of wear/seated work/etc, but I think they'd get uncomfortable very quickly for something like travel/standing/running around all day.

Nice looking!

Thought they were leather when I opened the box. Fit very well. I range from an 8 reg. to an 8 wide. Can wear w/light weight sox. Many compliments.

Simple and functional

I love it. It is almost perfect; the only downside is that it gets wrinkly/dirty after the first use. The dirt can be easily wiped off with Clorox, but I don’t know how to remove the wrinkles!

Runs large

These ran about a half size large for me. Problematic with thin low profile socks. Love the classic design, minimalist sole and very comfortable footbed.

Comfy sneakers

Comfortable to wear and soft. I ordered my usual size 9, but they are half a size bigger, so you might think of sizing down a bit. Would recommend!

Cool look and great feel

I love the style of these shoes and they are quite comfortable. I wear a 6.5 or 7, so I bought a 7. The 6.5 would have probably worked. These are a smidge long.

Nice Sneaker

Love this sneaker. I ordered wide width but upon trying it on, it wasn't wide enough. Product description doesn't say what wide it is. Sneaker itself shows it as C. Wish it was wider....bumbed

Hit or miss with quality

I had to re-order these shoes after the first pair arrived in pretty poor quality. The leather was incredibly creased on one of the toe boxes of the shoes, looking like the panels weren't sewed properly. You could see the stitching inside around the entire heel of the sole and there was a black stain on one of the shoes. Needless to say I contacted to Amazon unsure if these were authentic or fake Cole Hans, they assured me they were authentic so I decided to give it another shot and order a replacement pair. The second pair came in much better quality -- but do note that the leather is VERY paper thin and so there was still some wrinkling/creasing on one of the pairs. It was right where the toe box bends though so not as big of a deal. Also they do fit a little large so I sized down half a size (I'm usually a size 6 womens, I ordered 5.5) I haven't worn them for long periods of time yet, just around the house but here are the PRO'S: - Super light weight, comfortable - a beautiful clean, minimalistic look! more-so than Adidas Stan smith's - would make a great travel shoe, light weight easy to pack and would go with any outfit CON's - leather is pretty thin (hence why they're so light weight) so will need to see how these hold up

Cute But Short Lifespan

These are really nice but they do not last more than a handful of wears. Completely tattered up after wearing 1 to 2x per week (for an hour to 4-5 hours) in 4 months. Need to be replaced already. Update: I just threw them in the trash this week because they’re too far gone to wear.

Comfy, durable, and stylish

Bought these as my new travel shoes to replace my older pair of Cole Haan’s that were fading (4 years old). These ones have slightly less cushion, but are still very comfy. Fit TTS. Many compliments. Don’t scuff easily at all. Easy to clean.
