Close to 5 stars. The bit cut holes in 3/8" galvanized steel brackets and a 2" steel drawbar with no problem. I used a drill press and lots of oil. One of the two cutters had 2 small chips after drilling the 3/8" material. Being a Cobalt bit this did not all-together shock me, but I was less than thrilled. Amazon made good on it. The second bit did the same thing when drilling the 2" bar. A nature of the beast with Cobalt I guess. Even with the small chips on one cutting edge, the bit still performs well.

Cutting edge chipped out after first drill through 1/8" mild steel

I had several chips on both cutters after a single cut through 1/8" mild steel (with plenty of oil). I haven't experienced anything like this with cobalt bits in a similar price range.
