Reliable Quality

This is my second pair. Bought a pair of these last year with the matching top. Liked them so well I bought another set this year. Working outside in late fall early, winter they are very comfortable especially on windy days and keep you warm without getting sweaty.

What you would expect from Carhartt (Bottoms)!

I am very pleased these Thermals! A five star rating could be easily justified. They are well made and so far are wearing like iron. There are two small issues folks want to be aware of: 1. The fly is a bit odd and restrictive. I understand why Carhartt may have designed them this way but, when "layered up", it can take a bit more time than normal to find the fly opening because of its smaller than normal size and lack of elasticity. 2. Take note of the size chart. I wear a size XL Tall Top and a L Tall Bottom and both fit great. The L Tall Top would be too tight and the XL Tall Bottom would have too large a waist and be too baggy. I am 6' 4" tall and "lanky". I am not particularly muscular or overweight, just fit. For me, I need the Tall for my long arms and legs. I have already ordered a second pair and do recommend them!

Perfect for what was needed

I bought the first pair on a trial basis. What was needed wasn't for winter weather but for working in an area where there is air conditioning and after a time, would get too chilled. These bottoms were a hit right out of the wrapper and ordered a second pair within minutes. I do need to order another pair or two as just two pair are not enough for daily rotation if you know what I mean. My husband loves these and is very happy so I'm happy.

Good product!

Wore them intensivly this winter, and they kept me worm and i almost didnt feel them at all, as they sit tight and are made of good materials. Id buy them again.

Fit and Comfort as hoped for.

These were as expected. The waffle weave is not too uncomfortable. Warmth good for days when need an extra bit of warmth.

Third party knock-off product. Avoid.

Like others have mentioned in their reviews, the elastic banding starts to become unstitched from the pant part. Mine lasted about 3 months before it happened, with constant but light wear (just walking around). Pretty poor quality. Another pair of thicker Carhartt brand I bought in store lasted 3 years with every day use. They also look and feel of different material entirely than the Amazon product; higher quality all the way around including the elastic banding. This leads me to believe these aren't true Carhartts, but a third party company branding them as such and selling them. For clothes in general, I know this happened on Amazon quite a bit which steered me clear of buying any clothing products from here, except these. Since they were a basic item, I didn't think much of it. But now after having these garbage knock-off Carhartts, I'll stick to doing clothes shopping in actual stores. You were warned.

Worth the money!

These keep my husband warm when he is out in winter storms working. Day or night shifts, they do the job.
