Versatile Warmth

My Norwegian cousins introduced me to Buff neckwear. I love that I can wear it in many different ways depending on the weather needs. I've found that if I have my Buff on my neck, I'm warm. And when I get too warm, I can stuff it in a small pocket until I need it again. I highly recommend this to anyone who lives or travels in any cold climate.

Keeps my throat warm

I like my throat to be warm when it is cold or windy. This buff does the job without the bulk of a scarf. Arrived quickly. Good price. I gave these as Christmas presents.

It's okay

I have about 6 Buff thingys, including a black merino wool, however, I couldn't find it. I bought this as we are now obligated to wear face coverings at work and the masks they provide feel as they are asphyxiating me. I could pull this to my neck then pull up over nose and mouth but after a short time it would stretch out and I'd ve forced to wear the asphyxiating face covers. (And the US actually financially supported these horrendous "Wet Markets"). This arrived with a decent sized spot of something caked on. Kind of looks like glue as if was affixed to something at some point but it arrived as all my Buff's have, tied to a board, not glued. I have washed it 3 times. Some of it has come off but not all. I bought some "Goo Gone" but have not tried it yet. So even though I don't really wear this as a constant face covering I can still use it as a headband or neck warmer in the winter. This is "Unisex," not specifically for a man as it states in the heading.

LOVE it, but it's a bit large

I use the UV protection buffs in the summer and just adore the product. They're really versatile, so I can have a Sahrain, hat, headband, whatever depending on whether I'm running, biking, hiking, or trying to hide horrible helmet hair. As it got colder, the need for a warmer Buff arose. I poked around online and saw that there was this wool version. I ordered it before my last century bike ride of the season, and it arrived just in time. The high that day was 41 degrees and happened at the END of the 100 miles. We rode most of the morning in sub-30 degree temperatures. This thing kept me warm and because of the extra-long size it worked very well as a helmet linter. The only problem is that it's a TINY bit too big (my head circumference is 23 inches) so it was a bit droopier than I would have liked and will not stay put around my face. My summer Buffs fit perfectly so I wasn't expecting this. Despite the size issue (which is minor) I still use this thing constantly! After the century I have been using the Buff on a daily basis for winter bike commuting. It's super-warm, but thin so it fits well under my helmet. I wear it every day, usually twisted around as a winter hat with a thicker brim over my ears. The wool keeps me toasty and even though I've done some biking in pretty cold temps already this fall, I've been toasty warm under the helmet. I definitely recommend this product, but if you have a smaller head than I do and want to use the wool Buff as a balaclava I would be careful as it may be too big for that.

This is my third Buff. This Buff has good and bad qualities

ONE MONTH UPDATE:— it has stretched out some and is not as tight as my older non wool Buffs. I have doubled it to make it thicker and since it was so very long it still covers my neck face and ears very well. When only around the neck it is quite loose even doubled. I am still super happy with it. Even in cold blowing and freezing rain i was very warm and dry. I love Merino Wool and wear it year round in several different products. This is my third Buff. This Buff has good and bad qualities. It is at least twice as long as my other Buff products. Nearly 24 inches long from top to bottom! It definitely can be used as a head cover and still have enough to bundle and keep the neck warm. It feels comfortable and smooth against the skin like a normal Buff. I am not impressed with the thickness of the material. It is very thin and see thru when stretched, like a pair of cheap girls' tights. My other Buffs seem like a tighter weave. I wore it this morning in 30F temps with it around my neck and pulled up over my nose and ears. I was warm and comfortable. There was no wind. I feel the length will make it adequate and I will double it over if temps and wind get too chilly.

Best Item I Bought Before a Week Long Bicycle Trip

At the last minute, I ordered this Buff Merino Wool neck / face protector for a week long bicycle ride through western Virginia and Tennessee. This was the best thing I bought for the trip and one of the best items I had with me. Some mornings we started out around freezing (32F; one day with snow on the ground). Other days it was warmer but windy - 40s to 50s with winds gusting to 30mph through the mountains. I was able to keep my face comfortable on the bicycle hour after hour with the Buff around my neck. On the cold days, I doubled it up and brought it up to the bottom of my sunglasses and over my ears. It kept my nose and mouth warm and prevented wind from getting under my helmet liner at my ears. On the warmer days, I would pull it up in a single layer when the winds were really gusting or on the cooler descents. It also protected my neck and face from the sun. A great item. I highly recommend this. I will use it for cycling, hiking, walking, jogging, and many other activities. The merino wool was still warm even with moisture on it from me breathing, and it was also not too hot when it got warmer. The magic of merino wool. Extremely happy with this product so far!

Way too loose fitting

This is my revised review. So this product isn't what I thought it was, I assumed it would be a neck gaiter, but it's a "buff tube". It's very loose-fitting, very long, you can wear it in a few different ways. If you are looking for a versatile neck gaiter for your camp trips that can be used as a headband, tuque, face mask, balaclava, etc this is a good product. If you want something just to cover your face, mouth, and below your ears, I would recommend something else. Fits quite loose.

Light, soft & thin

I’ve brought this to wear on the motorcycle while on a 15 day tour around Tasmania in March. Its very light & thin so I’m hoping it will keep my neck warm. Its a litter tight around my neck but I think it will loosen up with each use. It also feel soft around my neck . I will definitely edit this review when I come back from my trip after I have tried it out.

Protege de Viento frío con tierra, y es realmente Caliente.

De nuevo, ya que compré la Gris obtuve la color negra para tener dos Buff Lana de Merino ya que están a muy buen precio si lo que quieres es no sufrir de frío o eres de los que no gustan de respirar aire frío, es de muy buena calidad y muy Caliente, permite que no pierdas calor del cuello a la cabeza, te protejo del viento aire y tierra. Si no sabes que comprar te recomiendo compres Buff Lana de Merino si eres Friolento como yó. ????????

Ligera y comoda

Producto de buena calidad, para mantenerte caliente en clima ligeramente frio. Muy ligera asi que no estorba ni es incomoda de usar. Facil de lavar y seca rapido. Lo mejor es lavarla a mano con detergente suave. Puede usarse varias veces antes de que necesite lavarse y no guarda malos olores, por lo que es perfecta para viajes.

Una diadema con múltiples usos

Esta diadema tiene muchas formas de uso, ya sea como gorro, diadema o para proteger tu cara. Eso lo puede hacer cualquier Buff pero esta diadema esta fabricada con lana de merino que es un material versátil. Es ligera y te protege bien en climas fríos moderados. Tener una prenda de vestir como esta Buff te permite llevar menos en tus viajes por sus múltiples usos y no deja de cubrirte del medio ambiente.
