Perfect Toddler Toy

This toy is so fun and keeps the attention of my 3 year old son. He can take the truck fully apart on his own and can put it back together 75% on his own. With a little more practice, he should be able to do both on his own. The tool it comes with is perfect for little hands. All around a very well thought out toy.

Almost perfect

It’s a really great toy. The only things that keep it from being perfect are that there aren’t extra screws/bolts and nuts (kids are definitely going to lose some) and the nuts sometimes fall off when just normally playing with it.

Ultimate wet dream for any 3-4 year old!!!

Ultimate toy for 3-4 year olds!!! Power tool included. Kids will figure it out immediately and play for hours. Take apart and reassemble toy. Best ever!!!!!

Fun, versatile, and cute - would be a great gift

This is a great toy that can be played with as a truck, assembled by fingers, or assembled via the battery-operated drill with various attachments. I love that it has a variety of difficulty levels so it will grow with my child. I wasn't so sure about the robustness at first, but it's survived a couple of falls and getting banged into furniture so can't complain there. The parts are all of a good size for little fingers and the drill is safe and easy to use. Definitely recommend!

Interesting, Fun and Great Design for Curious Tots!

Batatat never ceases to amaze me... another great quality product! My son LOVES the take apart toys, and while they all have different neat features, this one is the coolest! The crane scoop grasping feature was such a neat idea. By far this one had more moving parts and pieces to put together than the other, but nothing overwhelming. Just enough interest for a tot to stay busy but not bored! As always great quality plastics and durability, great details and they last a long time! I'd like to make a side note that I tried to by another company's 3 take apart construction trucks and sent them back same day. Lesson learned - Batatat is the only one that will be getting our business from now on!

Sturdy, affordable, productive fun!!

I bought this toy for my developmentally delayed 2.5 year old. I expected him to be interested in pushing it around which he loves to do. I was thrilled he wanted to take it apart and put it back together. He needed some patient instruction. But now he does it alone. This product is really great! My five children (age 10 down to 2) all really enjoy this. I have no fear it will be broken any time soon. We had an airplane made by the same company that lasted many years in our home. It never broke - we just lost the pieces. I suspect this will also last us many, many years. Hopefully, we'll do better keeping track of the pieces. The price can't be beat for all the fun learning that toy can provide for many years!

Sturdy toy... but needs a better drill!

The Battat Take-Apart Crane Toy Truck Playset seems like a GREAT idea at first. The colors are fun and bright and the toy itself is very sturdy. My son (2.5 years old) loves to feel like he's actually building something with his tools (whereas usually we just pretend to "fix" things around the house with other tool toys) and the number of pieces (34) are just enough to give him a challenge to building, but not so many (or small) to be overly complicated or time consuming to assemble. My only COMPLAINT is the drill itself does not have enough torque to actually tighten/loosen the bolts and screws to assemble or disassemble effectively. I found myself "hand" tightening or loosening everything in both instances which kinda ruins the fun of the toy. Overall... the toy is fun and the fact that I'm constantly tightening/loosening for him doesn't seem to bother him. But for me, the tool leaves me wanting a bit more, unfortunately.

Best toy ever!

LOVE it, love it! My son and daughter spend hours playing with this and use the tools all around the house! It's positively adorable and I couldn't be happier. I've looked at many take apart toys and finding one of a durable nature that will withstand putting it together again and again is a challange. Most are not made of thick plastic like this one. We have 2 of these from this same maker, the airplane and the truck. (The airplane is more challenging to put together, fine motor wise) Hands down one of the best toys I've ever purchased for the money, it's an amazing price for something so good. And I have 4 kids, so we have a lot of toys! In a time when more toys are crap and break than not, this toy comes through as one that will be able to be handed down. Couldn't be happier!

Fun Toy for Toddlers

Got this for my 3 year old nephew for Christmas. He's obsessed with tow-trucks/construction trucks, and also with screwdrivers/drills and anything battery-powered, so this was a win on all fronts. After a few days he did end up playing with just the drill ("using" it on his other toys/trying to unscrew cabinets like his dad), but he does still play with the crane separately when he's enjoying his toy vehicles. Overall, a great gift idea for kids who like taking things apart and putting them together again.

A Jeep Toy, not a Cheaply made toy.

This item my 2 1/2yr old son loves. It’s really well made, easy to build and separate with the battery (AA not included) screw driver. though he struggles with the motorised screw driver. The construction is simple once you build it a few times but it’s always fun to play with. The cost of this toy is definitely value for money for what you get. I highly recommend this.

Screws come undone too easily

Nice sturdy truck, easy to assemble, some parts already assembled. Grandson enjoys using the drill but isn’t very good at using it on the truck. He likes to put it in his mouth and on his tummy. He doesn’t yet understand that you have to set the on off switch to determine which way the drill head spins (to tighten and undo the screws). You can actually tighten and unscrew by hand, good if you lose the drill, but unfortunately this means that the screws undo on their own. I took it to my moms for him to play with and put it in the boot of the car, when I got there all the screws had come undone and were rolling around the boot. He prefers to just use the truck as a truck and not bothered about being able to take apart, but at least it gets played with.
