Depends on what you're using them for

These are really quite short, but "quite short" may be appropriate, depending on the purpose for which you're buying them. First: I did not buy them for volleyball, as some reviews did. If you're buying volleyball shorts, I'd recommend that you skip these and buy the pricier Mizunos. I played volleyball for 6 years, went through a whole slew of spandex, and the Mizuno Vortex shorts are the best on the market. They are made for volleyball, the inseam is a little longer, and the rise is more practical for all the bending over you need to do during that sport. Second: That being said, these are FANTASTIC running and hot yoga shorts. They are part of my school's track team uniform, and their extremely short inseam is typical to what you see with most competitive track apparel. Anything longer just looks weird. Also, I've been practicing heated vinyasa and Bikram yoga, and these have proven to be the most wonderful shorts for that. They're much cheaper than specialty yoga shorts, don't croth-cling, do wick sweat, do stay dry, and are as close to underwear as a hyperthermic girl can/should get in an 105 degree room. I'm 5' 10", 160 lbs and got the Medium. They fit pretty well, but the front panel actually hits like an inch below my bellybutton, so I guess they're only "low rise" compared to Mizuno spandex.

Amazing

I use these shorts for gymnastics, cheer, and volleyball! They are very comfy and look great with all of these sports!

Like second skin

I wear these under my regular gym shorts for kick boxing, bike riding and running. I'm 6'4", 220 lbs, 37waist, 39 hips and the large fits me like second skin, which is what I wanted. The low cut leaves them snugly at my hips. The material is thin but silky smooth. They're well made for physical activity because they stretch, wick moisture and keep me cool and dry. They also provide firm support and hold themselves and my parts in place. I rated them 4/5 bacause, as mentioned in other reviews, the legs tend to ride up some. But, they are short to begin with, so it doesn't cause any discomfort or make that much of a difference. I'm too self concious to wear these in public without other shorts over top. However, I could see wearing them for the beach. The fit is secure enough for swimming and they have the same or more coverage than a Speedo. I think they should be unisex rather than women's, but that's just me.

I wear short shorts

These are very short shorts. I almost wore them to a doctor's appt this morning, because I usually don't give a f. As I was heading out, I realized they ride up when I walk and it was just too revealing and I just wasn't in the mood today to be picking at my cheeks. That being said, I realized I probably cannot really justify wearing these unless I'm noticeably working out. However, they are probably also great for under dresses or skirts as another reviewer said. They are so short that I am sure the purple color won't show. I'm 5' 10'' 145 lbs and my legs are disproportionately longer than the rest of my body. I ordered a medium. For someone shorter than me, the length is probably more reasonable. I'm not upset with the shorts, I love booty shorts and I wear them all summer long.

Found a keeper!!!

I ran across these shorts at a local thrift store and LOVED them. So, I googled and found them on Amazon!!!! I love these shorts. I have heat intolerance and these help with the discomfort of this. They are form fitting and you can choose how form fitting you want by sizing up or down. They really help me with sleeping as I tend to turn into a furnace in bed and having long pants or even lose shorts on can cause me to not sleep at all. They are great colors and I think they are flattering - for all sizes from no curves to curves. Love that body of yours!I find the the length to be perfect - not too short and not too long. Just enough coverage for my purpose. These could even multi-task as swim bottoms. The material is stretchy and you can wear them with underwear or not. Fantastic and brilliant short. Highly recommend. Will be buying more!!!

More good than bad, beware color bleeding

Got these shorts for hot summer workouts. I'm 5,9" 145lbs, athletic build and medium fit fine. A tad cheeky but not obscene (IMO). Beware that the colors bleed when you sweat or wash so during the first couple of washes I recommend turning them inside out and washing with like items.

Fits comfortably and with the right amount of cling

These shorts are great for hot weather exercise, fit well, don't ride up and have just the right amount of compression.

The best spandex shorts out there!

I bought these to wear while working out at the gym. I am always skeptical about tight, fitting spandex because often it's see through. I purchased these in the royal blue color and they're not terribly see through. They're not perfect but they were the best I could find. (& I spent a few days at various sporting goods stores trying on all the big name brand spandex shorts) I bought on Amazon because the price was the cheapest and they have held up very well since my purchase a few months ago. I'm planning to buy more in different colors because they really are some of the best out there! Purchased a small and it fits perfect. I'm 5'3" 120lbs with 26inch hips. They offer an adequate amount of compression without being uncomfortably tight. The waist band is soft and doesn't dig into my stomach, which is nice while lifting weights, stretching, and running. Overall, I recommend these to anyone looking for a quality pair of shorts at a decent price.

Great Short but can be a little too short

These shorts are great but it does ride up according to my daughter. But the material are A++ and fits like a glove.

Kinda fits

Okay yah i got the size large! Usually i get large in shorts ( im lean but i have wide hips), its just that this ones.... I’m afraid to wear them cause they disappear into me when i move ! They look cute if i dont move though ????
