Compression socks

I had my finger go through the top of my sock when I was pulling it up for the first time.

These compression socks have done the job for me and at cost lower than some others.

I have edema in my legs from pooling fluid. My legs were so swollen that each step I took was painful. By massage and use of these compression socks the swelling is greatly reduced and pain in walking is gone. Earlier I had used compression socks that cost four times more but did not work any better than these, yet they were much more difficult to put on and off. I have reordered the NuVein socks several times. I now use nothing else.

Great socks

Love these socks!!! Very comfortable A little hard to get on as all compression socks are. But really like them

After a couple of wearings, they fit like...socks.

Over the past few months I've tried a variety of compression socks with different pressure ratings and fabric composition. While I don't have a medical condition that would make wearing them essential, I have found them helpful to address the concerns of inactivity on longer airline flights, sitting at a desk or while driving for extended periods. If properly fitted, I have also discovered the pairs designed for athletic performance tend to work best for me...once the consistent challenge of getting them on is conquered. As far as this pair is concerned, it isn't much of an issue as they are basically under the knee length without a significant amount of compression in the arch area, so they are easier to slip on. The primary difference in my assessment of the socks geared towards an athletic audience and those recommended for travel and more generalized casual wear is after a couple of wearings and wash cycles, the nylon/spandex blended fabric of the this variety seems to lose elasticity and stretched to the point they're entirely comfortable to wear but do not seem to provide a sufficient amount of compression whereas the acrylic yarn of socks designed for athletics darn near amputates just below the kneecap time after time. For this fabric blend, following the sizing suggestions seems to be satisfactory but with the pairs intended for athletics, if one's calf measurements like mine are near the upper limit of sizing suggestion for a range, it might be a good idea to move up to the next size category.

helped a little but also bunched up

Thin, knee-high compression socks. They aren't as aggressively tight as others I've seen aimed at travel, but they're rather thin-- enough so that normal men's shoes don't fit quite right. You could add normal socks on top, probably. For long cross-country travel, they seemed to help (a little) with fatigue on my first try. My legs and feet weren't as beat up as I'd normally expect from 5-6 hours in the air, several hours in cars and airports, etc. But, they were also a bit inconvenient. They worked their way down during the course of the travel, bunching up a bit (and leaving dents in my skin where they did). They're too tight / tall to put on or really even adjust in public unless you like to be a spectacle. They're a little bit of a struggle to get back off, too. I could try a size smaller, but I suspect that would increase the struggle. But they might stay in place better. As a frequent flier, I though these might help. They seemed to, though they don't keep you warm like real socks. I think I'll try compression socks again, but look for a different kind.

These are very nice compression socks. To look at them you wouldn't know that they are a medical item, they look like a nice pair of dress socks so that is a plus in my opinion. They fit nice and feel good to wear and aren't too tight for comfort. Thin and run slightly small

These are decent quality compression socks with wide cuffs and smooth seams. However, they are so thin that the skin shows through when worn and they are very tight even though the sizing is correct based on the chart. The herringbone pattern also distorts significantly because the socks are so stretchy to provide compression. Like all compression socks, they are difficult to don and not easy to doff so take that into account. Anyone who has to strain when dealing with socks is going to have a hard time with them.
