Wonderful!
We got a dog, and with it dog smells, hair and dander. Oh, yeah and fun and joy and all that. I bought this a few months ago and have it running constantly. Even on wet rainy days, my house thankfully does not smell like dog, thanks to this beast. It's quiet, easy to clean, and small so that I can place it anywhere I'd like. I love the 3 speeds. Low is so quiet you can not hear it! Medium is where I typically keep it and no one notices. High is noticeable but not obnoxious, I only turn it on high if we've got some serious smells going on or pollen issues. I can't speak to the efficiency of air purification, I've done no scientific tests, but my house does not smell like dog (I've asked friends and family!) And there's definitely less dander floating around. Would recommend!

A Solid Air Filter
Spoiler: So many of these air filters are the same. They are just a box with a fan in it that sucks room air over a filter. Unless you get something very expensive that does something different, they are all the same. So I needed to replace two super old Sears, yes Sears Kenmore, HEPA filters we used in our bedroom and elsewhere in the house. They are still going but one has a little bit of a wobbly fan after 20+ years so its relegated to cat litter duty until it quits. Or I take it apart and see what I can do to tune it up. Bought one of these units. Its basically the same thing. An airtight box with a fan that draws room air across a filter and exhausts the "scrubbed" air. Lets get to it: I liked this filter enough to buy this, a second one. ALL of these are noisy on high. So what? Run it on high for awhile while youre not in the room then turn it down lower if the sound is bothersome when you are in there. These appear to be built well. Have nice features like a dimmable touch pad so you can use it in a dark bedroom. Magnetic front panel top get at the filter and pre filter. Nice surface area of a nice large filter. A great feature is the washable pre filter. Wash that thing out every week or five and you'll be in good shape! Especially if you have pets. The key with these, and I'm not an engineer, seems to be how they draw air in and how they exhaust the filtered air. If those vents are too close, then it creates a "short circuit" of pulling in a loop of the same air. This filter pulls from the sides and exhausts out the top. Nicely done designers! It's fairly boxy Like 12" x 15" but its fairly thin like 6". You should be able to fit it in most rooms. We ran the first one we bought on high in our bedroom upon getting up in the morning, making the bed, getting dressed. All the stuff that stirs things up. Then we leave it on medium the rest of the day and low at night. You do feel the difference in the air. Havent had pollen season yet but from the previous 20 years of using the different units I had, I just know this will do well, better even because the filter is a bigger surface area than my old ones. Sometimes we use it on high and set the timer. Nice units. Will update my 5 stars if some sort of reliability issue pops up through using it. Dont get too bogged down in the details of other ones. There is no real magic. These are just boxes that pull air in, filter it, send it back out again, and offer some features like speeds, timers, etc. This is a good version of these air cleaning boxes and well worth your consideration.

Less dust!
Let bong with 2 large dogs who like to play A LOT, my house is very dusty. This air purifier has reduced the dust and pet dander by 75%. The filter is easy to clean. The only negative is that on the highest speed (3) it is quite noisy as other reviewers have stated. Will be buying another for my upstairs.

The story goes like this: I purchased the Levoit Vital AP in January 2023, even after researching the best type for my living situation (500 sq ft, ground level studio apartment, with only two windows facing south). I kept checking the air filter to see if it was working - sound familiar? I was still skeptical because I could not see any "dirt." (And if you do see something on the filter after three days, you might need more than a basic home air purifier.) So, I returned it. Within three hours, the sniffles arrived, and the feeling of anxiety of "am I coming down with something?" happened. So, guess what? I bought the exact same Levoit Vital air purifier again, same style, same channel - Tada! After I turned it on, sweet relief within ten minutes. I was so happy! The Levoit works great for my lifestyle. Since I live in a studio, I placed the Levoit Vital in the furthest darkest corner that has the least amount of proper ventilation - which is my next point. Please note: any purifier will make some type of difference. It's a machine that is moving and cycling the air. The Levoit comes with a carbon True HEPA filter. The true and carbon part makes a huge difference compared to other non-True HEPA filters. To boost the performance of any AP, running a simple table fan or opening a window works to help the ventilation. Will the Levoit Vital clean the inside air if you don’t have a fan running? Yes, it dehumidifies the air more in my apartment. I have carpet, so if you have laminate or wood floors, your results may be different. I am almost a month in now with this magical box. Lesson learned! Thank you Levoit.

Great air purifier!
This product is easy to use, easy to replace the filter and does a great job of keeping my air dust free. I purchased this about 6 months ago and have been using it since and I love it. There is a little bit of noise but it's still quieter than a lot of other models and works great in my bedroom.

Pretty happy with this. I own two. Bought because of the removable filter
Bought another brand and returned for this one when I saw it had a removable filter. Have two now and they run 24hrs a day and happy about that. Bought 1st one for bedroom, and my 2 labs sleep in my bed (I am NOT allergic to dogs at all). In the bedroom, there is no dog smell when there used to be. I keep the door shut all night. I live on dirt roads in the woods, the dogs are pretty much indoor dogs, and I run the units 24 hours to reduce the dirt and dust. I bet by 50-75% reduction. You can see the unit suck in the dust in the sunlight. It used to be I would see dust floating in the air on a sunny day but no more. I do keep a clean house and that is a lot of cleaning with a house on dirt roads and two 85# dogs. The other unit is in the living room. I still vacuum every day to pick up the dog hair. Am excited to see how they perform in the summer with the windows open all the time. The sleep mode is almost silent, just like other reviews.

Earrings are too loose. I ordered 3 pairs and only have 1 left, others disappeared into the abyss. Did not sit well on my ears and was irritating. They are also huge
